Business Development Specialist - sUAS/Drone Consulting & Training

At SkyOp, we develop industry-leading drone training courseware, license it to our partners, and deliver it directly to end users, facilitating the safe, lawful and effective adoption of drone technology.

We have an immediate opening for a full-time Business Development Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for making outbound calls to prospective clients to generate leads for our consulting and training products. The position requires excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to speak with decision makers and managers. You will also perform Internet research and be responsible for entering accurate data into our CRM database.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Developing and nurturing relationships with business owners in your territory
  • Managing the sales cycle from start to finish
  • Hitting sales targets, with a particular focus on selling consulting & training services to large organizations in the power & distribution, construction, agriculture, inspection, surveying, and public safety markets

This position requires 2 or more years of sales experience. A minimum of one year of experience using drones is preferred.

Compensation:

  • Base salary commensurate with experience
